On March 7th, Scott Mixon, Georgia-Pacific Public Affairs Manager, presented a $26,000 check to Superintendent of Schools Alicia Beshears to be used for STEAM (science technology, engineering, arts, and math), agricultural, and trade skill education at several schools within the Taylor County district. “Every year, we have increased our donation to Taylor County Schools because every year the teachers and faculty find ways to do more to educate students and prepare them for their future,” Mixon said. “On behalf of Georgia-Pacific, I would like to express our appreciation to the leadership teams and teachers for their tireless effort towards educating children in Taylor County."

TCMS Girls Soccer defeated River Springs Middle School to gain the District Championship with a 1-0 shutout. The girls had a record of 12-1 for the season only allowing 8 goals by all opponents. CONGRATULATIONS AND WAY TO GO DAWGS!!!!
